Want to know something ironic?

#91 on my 101 in 1001 is to purchase a new car. No big deal right? I was next in line to purchase a new car pending full time employment.

Well wouldn't you know that mother nature, God, karma, had other plans.......

Nope. Not me next.  JP was next.  WTF?

A week and a half a go, JP went in for some dental work and a cleaning.  There was an hour in between the appointments.  Luckily, and with better judgment, he opted not to sit in car and read his book in the waiting room. 

Here's why....

So yes, that Thursday we went to look for a car.  Turns out the whole process, when you're the one actually involved, goes rather quickly... almost too quickly.  After the test drive and what seemed to be the salesman's word vomit of rates, prices, and financing jargon, we signed some papers that somehow indicated we'd be back with a check to hold the car.  And the following Tuesday (two days ago) we drove the newest member of the family off the lot.

Turns out item #91 on the list wasn't meant for me.  Not sure that's cool.
