The Results... 03:02:43....

So I finished the thing in three hours, two minutes, and forty three seconds.  This was about 15-20 slower than I had anticipated, but I did not anticipate such crazy hills, so.

But, here are some neat things to think about.... Here's my official timing stats...

My overall placement: 8171

• This means I beat just over 10,000 runners.  Sure, most of them were full marathon runners, but who's really counting?

My rank among women: 4895

•  This means I beat 673 women in the 1/2 marathon.  Okay... not toooooo shabby?

My rank among women 25-29: 118

• Of the 10 girls in the 25-29 age range I had the second fastest time.  The rank can be a bit deceiving because multiple people can have the same finishing time. This division rankings went up to 128, which means I beat 98 other girls in my age division.

Okay, so not the greatest turn out, for a first go at it, but I still maintain that I start and finished the race running.  Maybe there is another 1/2 in my future.......
