Threw in the towel...

on PA.  Stupid state.  We poured our hopes and dreams into you and you failed us... especially considering you called me 2 weeks after we moved.  But in all reality we needed it.  We need to move to PA to prove it wasn't for us.  Turns out we're more suburbanites than we thought.

So we took another plunge and moved back to Ohio and in with my parents. 

In the first two weeks of being back, JP landed two jobs- one doing OGT test prep for a local school district and the second doing ACT test prep/general math tutoring about 4 nights a week.  Things moved considerably faster than we had anticipated, but are happy with his progress so far.

As for me, I have several prospects and since being back, have had 2 promising interviews with one school... AND a phone interview scheduled for later this week at another. 

I also managed to get myself involved with a flag football league, to which I got my keester kicked each Sunday.  It was fun.  But maybe not my cup of tea.  Not too sure I'm cut out for physical contact.

At any rate.  We're in Cleveland.  And I couldn't be any happier.  Pittsburgh served its purpose... but Cleveland's where it's at.
